Look at us now.

“It’s been a lifetime since I last stood Gladiator, title and purpose I never desired. Rome, forced such upon me and many of my brothers. This night, we shall return favor! Let us show the son of Crassus and his men what we have learned beneath the heel of their mighty Republic. And in the lesson, honor the dead, with Roman blood!”

For the lives… and the deaths.

The last of the Spartacus Crew. :(
there seriously are not words for how happy i was that Castus was with the leaders. He worked his way up from being considered a traitor to being at the top with the most respected men and women in the rebellion. So proud of him.
I was happy to see that too.
But okay, what I’ve been unable to stop focusing on since this cap showed up is how RIDICULOUS Dan and Pana’s height difference looks here. I mean, it’s always ridiculous (and really hot…), but the way they’re standing here just really makes it stand out. Dan has the longest legs ever, it’s insane.
And speaking of Dan in the scene, I just really love that Agron was standing there, in front of Crassus and Caesar, showing them how not broken by them he is.
What I love is that his crew has one straight man, three gay ones, and a woman. If only Saxa was there, then we could have a queer woman too, but still. How awesome is this?!
Other shows need to take this example!
two white guys, one woman, three gay men, two african americans, indigenous man …
…fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and lovers—hold them close, for the shadow of rome is upon us. We shall seek our destiny together, whatever the cost. Yet, let us not pass from memory those left absent from our arms—those who sacrificed their lives so that all may live free…

“My path has been chosen. Not by the Fates, not by the gods themselves — I choose to walk by your side, in this life and the one that follows, until we find ourselves upon its shores. I desire only to send more Romans there before us.”
“I do not deserve a woman such as you.”
“You are the only man who truly does.”
