does anyone else wonder who that slave protecting naevia so fiercely? it couldn’t have been just a random slave, because most didn’t even bother looking at sparty and his group while they were searching, most likely too afraid of both them and their ‘masters’. i want that story! did they bond over their mutual misery? did they tend to each other’s wounds after roman cruelty? did they comfort each other when memories assaulted them?
